Timmy Fitzpatrick

Timmy Fitzpatrick is a former inter-county hurling player from Laois, Ireland. He played as a goalkeeper for both Laois and Kilcotton teams. Fitzpatrick was the first choice goalkeeper for Laois in the 1940s and gained recognition for his skills. He became a Laois hero during the 1949 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final against Tipperary, despite the final result. In 1950, he made his only appearance on the Leinster team. Fitzpatrick also played in three Laois Senior Hurling Championship finals with his club, although they did not win. In 1999, he was honored as a member of the Laois Hurling Team of the Millennium.
