Tobias Anderson

Tobias Anderson (born 1971 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish artist and filmmaker known for his work with found footage and animation. His short films, such as 879 (1998), My Name Is Grant (1999), 879 Colour (2002), and Prairie Stop, Highway 41 (2004), often reference the works of Alfred Hitchcock and explore film history and genres. Anderson's video works, frequently in the form of animations, pay homage to renowned film classics and incorporate action and thriller sequences of escape and chase. His work is held in the collection of the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, and several of his works are distributed by Stiftelsen Filmform.
