Tom Anderson, born on November 8, 1970, is an American technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Myspace, which he established in 2003 alongside Chris DeWolfe. He served as the president of Myspace and worked as a strategic adviser for the company. Anderson gained recognition as 'Tom from Myspace' or 'Myspace Tom' due to his automatic assignment as the first friend for new Myspace users. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Anderson engaged in computer hacking as a teenager, using the pseudonym 'Lord Flathead.' He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied English and rhetoric before pursuing a music career and residing in Taiwan.
