Tom Fordyce

Tom Fordyce is a British sports journalist and author. He is known for his work in writing text commentaries on cricket and tennis, as well as features on various other sports. Fordyce graduated from Girton College, Cambridge in 1992 with a degree in Geography and began his career as a features writer for Total Sport magazine and Sported magazine. In 2007, he embarked on a 4,500-mile journey around France in a camper van, blogging and producing written and video diaries of the Rugby World Cup. Fordyce also covered the Beijing Olympics in 2008, conducting experiments and testing sporting equipment. He published his first book, 'We Could Be Heroes: One Van, Two Blokes and Twelve World Championships,' in June 2009.
