Tom Rodgers
Tom Rodgers (born July 28, 1960) is a Native American activist and advocate for tribal issues. He is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana. In 1994, Rodgers founded Carlyle Consulting, a governmental/media/public relations firm located in Alexandria, Virginia, representing the interests of Native Americans. He played a key role in the investigation that led to the conviction of former lobbyist Jack Abramoff in 2002. Since then, Rodgers has been dedicated to Native American Voting Rights, striving to provide equal access to voting for Native Americans in impoverished reservations. Rodgers led an important Native American voter registration and turnout effort during the 2016 elections, known as the 'Jim Crow of the West' suppression. His work has garnered significant support and recognition.
