Tom Sinclair

Tom Sinclair (born 1957) is a former athlete and actor. He gained recognition as the 1979 NCAA Division I national champion for the javelin throw while competing for the University of Washington. Sinclair was a multi-year All-American during his time at Washington. He also holds the Washington state high school (WIAA) record for the javelin throw, which he set in 1975 while representing Peninsula High School with a throw of 239-1. Sinclair's senior season at Washington was particularly successful, as he became the Pac-10 champion and won the 1979 NCAA championship with a throw of 261-3. In addition to his athletic achievements, Sinclair has also pursued a career in acting.
