    Tommie Lee Agee (August 9, 1942 – January 22, 2001) was an American professional baseball player. He played as a center fielder in Major League Baseball from 1962 to 1973. Agee gained fame as a member of the New York Mets, notably during their remarkable 1969 World Series win against the Baltimore Orioles. He made crucial defensive plays in center field during the series. Agee was a two-time All-Star player, won two Gold Glove Awards, and was named AL Rookie of the Year in 1966 with the Chicago White Sox. He also played for the Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and St. Louis Cardinals. Agee was posthumously inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 2002.
