Tommy O'Neill

Tommy O'Neill (born 24 December 1955) is a Scottish former football midfielder. He began his career with Motherwell before moving to Clyde in 1977, where he spent 7 years and made 216 league appearances, scoring 45 goals. O'Neill also had spells with Hamilton Academical and Airdrieonians before temporarily leaving the senior game in 1987. He later returned in 1991, making a few appearances as player-coach for Stirling Albion. O'Neill eventually became assistant manager after being promoted from his coaching role. Currently, he works as a scout for Aberdeen FC, following a successful time with Celtic.
