Tony Barber

Tony Barber, born Anthony Ferraro Louis Barber on March 28, 1940, is a British Australian television game show host, radio announcer, singer, and media personality. He began his career in the industry in the early 1960s. Barber was born in Oldham, Lancashire, England and moved to Australia with his family in 1947. He was educated by the Sisters of Mercy and the Irish Christian Brothers. After attending Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth and graduating in 1960, he started his media career as a cadet announcer at radio station 6GE in Geraldton, Western Australia. Barber has had a successful and longstanding career in the entertainment industry.
