Tony Cummings
Tony Cummings is a British journalist and the founding editor of Cross Rhythms magazine. He began his journalistic career in 1963, starting with a black music fanzine called Soul. Over the years, he wrote for various publications, including Record Mirror and Black Music magazine, where he interviewed notable artists such as Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Michael Jackson. In 1980, Cummings converted to Christianity and started writing for the Christian magazine Buzz, eventually becoming the assistant editor. During his time at Cross Rhythms, Cummings has interviewed numerous artists and has also mentored musicians like Daniel Bedingfield and Natasha Bedingfield. He has also produced albums for Word Records.
