Tony Daly Biography
Tony Daly (born 7 March 1966) is a former Australian rugby union footballer known for representing Australia in 41 Test matches. He played as a prop for various teams including Eastern Suburbs, Gordon, Randwick, Manly, Brothers, and Saracens. Daly scored four tries for Australia, including one in the 1991 Rugby World Cup final against England, which Australia won 12–6. He also participated in the 1995 Rugby World Cup and played in several Bledisloe Cup matches against the All Blacks. Besides representing Australia, Daly played for New South Wales and Queensland. Since retiring, he has remained involved in rugby and briefly played for San Francisco Golden Gate. Daly's planned participation with the Classic Wallabies in Bermuda was disrupted in 2006 due to an incident on the plane, which led to his detainment by the FBI and subsequent return to Australia.
