Norman Antony Hart, known as Tony Hart, was an English artist and children's television presenter. Born on October 15, 1925, in Maidstone, Kent, Hart had a passion for drawing from a young age. After serving in the Gurkha regiment, he began his career in children's television in the 1950s, working on the BBC's Blue Peter before hosting his own shows. Hart's most notable programs include Vision On, Take Hart, and Hartbeat. He was known for his educational approach to teaching art to children. Hart also contributed to the design of Blue Peter's ship logo and created the animated character Morph. He passed away on January 18, 2009.
