Tony Iommi
Tony Iommi is an English-Italian musician known for co-founding the pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Born on February 19, 1948, Iommi served as the band's guitarist, leader, and primary composer for nearly five decades. He is recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, ranking at number 25 on Rolling Stone magazine's list. In a teenage accident, he lost the tips of his middle and ring fingers on his right hand, which influenced his unique playing style. Iommi briefly joined Jethro Tull but did not record any material and returned to Black Sabbath in 1969. He has also released solo albums and formed the band Heaven & Hell before disbanding in 2010.
