Tony Lynch

Tony Lynch, born Anthony Junior Lynch on 20 January 1966, is a former English professional footballer. He played as a left winger in the Football League for Brentford and Barnet. Lynch began his career in the youth system at Brentford, making four senior appearances during the 1983–84 season. He signed his first professional contract in 1984 but made only 13 appearances the following season. Lynch broke into the first team during the 1985–86 season, making 40 appearances and scoring four goals. After being released by Brentford, Lynch played non-League football for Maidstone United, Wealdstone, Stevenage Borough, Kettering Town, and Hendon. He joined Barnet in 1990 and was part of the team that achieved promotion to the Football League in 1991.
