Tony Maxwell Biography
Tony Maxwell, born Anthony D. Maxwell on June 3, 1968, is an American musician known for his drumming skills. From 1991 to 1997, he was the drummer for the band That Dog, and he later rejoined the band for their 2019 reunion album, Old LP. Following the band's breakup, Maxwell ventured into composing, contributing to the soundtracks of films such as Chuck & Buck and The Good Girl. He has established a fruitful collaboration with director Spike Jonze, having appeared as a dancer in Weezer's 'Buddy Holly' music video, played the Dog character in Jonze's 'Da Funk' and 'Fresh' videos for Daft Punk, choreographed the Dance of Despair in Jonze's Being John Malkovich, and served as Nicolas Cage's body double in Jonze's Adaptation.
