Tonya Lewis Lee

Tonya Lewis Lee (born March 30, 1966) is an American film and television producer, author, entrepreneur, and advocate for women and infant health. She founded her production company, Madstone Company Inc., in 1998. Lewis Lee has been involved in media for children, working with Nickelodeon and authoring children's books. Born in Yonkers, New York, she is the daughter of Lillian Charlotte and George Ralph Lewis. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a BA and the University of Virginia School of Law with a JD. After practicing law in Washington, D.C., she married Spike Lee in 1993 and they have two children. With a career spanning nearly 20 years, Lewis Lee has produced content for television and film.
