Tracey Emin

Tracey Karima Emin, born on July 3, 1963, is an English artist known for her autobiographical and confessional artwork. She works with various media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, film, photography, neon text, and sewn appliqué. Emin gained recognition as part of the Young British Artists in the 1980s and is currently a Royal Academician. In 1997, her notable artwork 'Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963–1995,' featuring a tent appliquéd with the names of her past partners, was exhibited at the Sensation exhibition. Emin's work 'My Bed' also gained attention as a Turner Prize nominee in 1999. She continues to create thought-provoking and introspective pieces.
