Traci Des Jardins

Traci Des Jardins is an American chef and restaurateur known for her French influenced California fine-dining restaurant, Jardinière, located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. She is also the chef and partner of Public House, School Night, and El Alto. Raised on a farm in Firebaugh, California, Des Jardins developed a love for cooking using fresh produce and game from her family's Mexican and French Acadian heritage. She honed her culinary skills by apprenticing at several three-star French restaurants. Des Jardins is recognized for her commitment to sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, creating classic pub food with a modern twist at Public House. She continues to make a mark in the culinary world with her innovative approach to cuisine.
