    Travis Lazarus 'Travie' McCoy (born August 5, 1981) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rap rock band Gym Class Heroes. McCoy began his musical journey in punk rock scenes and later formed Gym Class Heroes with childhood friend Matt McGinley. The band signed with Fueled by Ramen and released their debut album. McCoy embarked on a solo career during the band's hiatus and released his debut solo album, 'Lazarus,' featuring the hit single 'Billionaire' with Bruno Mars. In 2022, he released his second studio album, 'Never Slept Better,' after signing with Hopeless Records. McCoy hails from Geneva, New York and has Haitian heritage.
