Trevor Peacock Biography
Trevor Edward Peacock (19 May 1931 – 8 March 2021) was an English actor and songwriter known for his work in theatre and television. He gained recognition for his roles in Shakespearean plays and later became popular for portraying Jim Trott in the BBC comedy series The Vicar of Dibley. In addition to his acting career, Peacock was also a songwriter, with his song "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" becoming a number one hit for Herman's Hermits in 1965. Born in Edmonton, London, Peacock initially worked as a teacher before embarking on his acting journey. Throughout his career, he appeared in various television shows, including EastEnders, Madame Bovary, The Old Curiosity Shop, and Neverwhere.
