Troy Lewis Biography
Troy Lewis (born March 15, 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player. He is known for his time as a guard for the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team from 1985 to 1988. Lewis is the fourth all-time leading scorer in Purdue's history, scoring 2,038 points during his college career. He was a First Team All-Big Ten selection in 1987 and 1988, and played a key role in leading the Boilermakers to consecutive Big Ten Championships and the 1988 NCAA Sweet 16. Prior to his college career, Lewis was recognized as Indiana co-Mr. Basketball in 1984 while playing for Anderson High School. He led his team to the 1983 IHSAA State Finals, where he remains the leading scorer in State Finals history with 76 points.
