Troy Smith
Troy James Smith (born July 20, 1984) is an American former professional football player who played quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He gained recognition while playing college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he earned unanimous All-American honors and won the Heisman Trophy in 2006. Smith was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft and also played for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. He later played for the Omaha Nighthawks in the UFL and the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL. After retiring from football in 2014, Smith's career spanned two seasons in the CFL. He was raised in Columbus, Ohio, and later moved to the Glenville neighborhood of Cleveland.
