Tudor Jones

Paul Tudor Jones II (born September 28, 1954) is an American billionaire hedge fund manager, conservationist, and philanthropist. He is the founder of Tudor Investment Corporation, a hedge fund headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, which he established in 1980. Aside from his success in the financial industry, Jones is also known for his philanthropic endeavors. In 1988, he founded the Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization focused on poverty reduction. Jones was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and had a family background in publishing, with his father being the publisher of The Daily News. He graduated from Presbyterian Day School and Memphis University School before attending the University of Virginia, where he excelled as a welterweight boxing champion.
