Turk Pipkin Biography
Turk Pipkin (born July 2, 1953) is an author, actor, comedian, and director. He is the co-founder of The Nobelity Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding solutions to global problems and advocating for children's basic rights. In 2006, Pipkin directed the film 'Nobelity' after interviewing nine Nobel Laureates, focusing on global issues such as energy, hunger, land mines, and climate change. He later filmed a sequel called 'One Peace at a Time,' traveling to 20 countries to explore solutions in areas such as water, nutrition, education, healthcare, and peace. Pipkin's work also includes the film 'Building Hope,' which documents the construction of Mahiga Hope High School in rural Kenya. He has collaborated with Nobel Laureates including Desmond Tutu, Wangari Maathai, Ahmed Zewail, and Steven Chu.
