Tyler Mane, born Daryl Karolat on December 8, 1966, is a Canadian actor and retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his roles as Sabretooth in X-Men, Ajax in Troy, and Michael Myers in the remake of Halloween and its sequel Halloween II. Mane appeared as supervillain Blackstar in the 2021 Netflix limited series Jupiter's Legacy. Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he graduated from City Park Collegiate Institute. Mane began his wrestling career in 1986 under the name 'Skywalker Nitron' and later wrestled as Skyhigh Lee. He gained international recognition and wrestled for Joint Promotions in the United Kingdom. Mane's successful transition from wrestling to acting has solidified his status as a versatile performer in both movies and TV shows.
