Tyrone Phillips

Tyrone Phillips (born 5 January 1994) is a professional rugby league footballer from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He plays as a winger for the Newtown Jets in the Canterbury Cup NSW. Phillips is of Fijian and Indigenous Australian descent. He began his career playing junior rugby league for La Perouse United before being signed by the South Sydney Rabbitohs. From 2011 to 2013, he played for the Rabbitohs' NYC team, scoring 24 tries in 46 matches. In 2014, he joined the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' New South Wales Cup team and also represented Fiji internationally, making his debut in 2015.
