Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis is an American former professional football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). Born on January 31, 1984, Davis played college football for the Maryland Terrapins before being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2006 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, Davis earned two Pro Bowl selections and co-led the NFL in touchdown receptions in 2009. Known for his game-winning touchdown catch in the 2011-12 NFL playoffs, he helped the 49ers reach Super Bowl XLVII. Davis later won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos before finishing his career with the Washington Redskins in 2019.
