    Victor Young was an American composer, arranger, violinist, and conductor. He was born on August 8, 1899, in Chicago, Illinois. Young came from a musical Jewish family, and he began playing the violin at the age of six. At the age of ten, he was sent to Poland to study at the Warsaw Imperial Conservatory, where he achieved the Diploma of Merit. He also studied piano at the Paris Conservatory with Isidor Philipp. Young started his career as a concert violinist with the Warsaw Philharmonic and later became a conductor. Throughout his career, he composed and arranged music for numerous films and television shows, leaving behind a significant contribution to the entertainment industry.
