Vince O'Brien (January 11, 1919 – June 19, 2010) was an American character actor known for his appearances in film and television. He is best known for his role as a doctor in Woody Allen's Annie Hall (1977). O'Brien grew up in New Britain, Connecticut and served in the United States Army during World War II. He attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in drama in 1949. O'Brien began his acting career in New York City in the 1950s and gained recognition for his mature look, often playing authority figures. He appeared on television shows such as Westinghouse Studio One, Dark Shadows, The Edge of Night, and The Guiding Light.
