Vivek Ramaswamy

Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy (born August 9, 1985) is an American entrepreneur and presidential candidate. He is the founder of Roivant Sciences, a pharmaceutical company established in 2014. Ramaswamy was born in Cincinnati and is the child of Indian immigrants. He graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree in biology and obtained a J.D. from Yale Law School. Prior to founding Roivant Sciences, he worked as an investment partner at a hedge fund and co-founded Strive Asset Management, an investment firm. Ramaswamy criticizes what he perceives as a national identity crisis in the United States, driven by new secular religions such as COVID-ism, climate-ism, and gender ideology. Forbes estimated his net worth to be over $950 million as of August 2023.
