Wendy Cutler is an American diplomat and Vice President of the Asia Society Policy Institute. She is also the managing director of its Washington D.C. office. Cutler has a BA in international relations from George Washington University and a MA in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. She served in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative for nearly 30 years, where she held various roles including Acting Deputy U.S. Trade Representative. Cutler has worked on several important negotiations and initiatives related to the Asia-Pacific, such as the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and U.S.-China trade relations. She has also contributed to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum and the U.S.-India Trade Policy Forum.
