Wendy Johnson (born October 2, 1955) is an American differential psychologist and professor of psychology at the University of Edinburgh. She specializes in the study of human intelligence and personality. Johnson obtained her mathematics degree from Occidental College in 1977 and later founded Pacific Actuarial Consultants. In 1999, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology at San Francisco State University. Johnson further pursued her education and earned a PhD in Behavior Genetics and Individual Differences from the University of Minnesota in 2005. Her research includes work on the Minnesota Twin Family Study. Currently, she holds the chair in Differential Development at the University of Edinburgh's Department of Psychology and Centre for Cognitive Ageing and Cognitive Epidemiology.
