    Wendy Wason is a Scottish writer, comedian, and actress. She gained recognition by reaching the grand final of the Babycham Funny Women competition at The Comedy Store in 2005. Wason appeared on Last Comic Standing in 2008 and performed her first hour-long show, 'Things I didn't know,' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Notably, in 2011, she performed two shows while nine months pregnant at the Edinburgh Festival. Wason has also appeared in television shows such as Midsomer Murders, Sherlock, Coupling, The IT Crowd, Tittybangbang, and Doctors. She has written and starred in her own sitcom for BBC Scotland called 'Half My Age Plus Seven' and voiced the audiobook of Ch alongside Mackenzie Crook.
