Whitney Anderson
Whitney T. Anderson (born 1931) is an American politician and businessman from Waimanalo, Hawaii. He is known for his 20-year tenure in both chambers of the Hawaii State Legislature. Anderson's involvement in Hawaiian politics began by working on his brother Andy's various campaigns. He later contributed to the campaigns of other notable Hawaii Republicans, including Gov. William F. Quinn and gubernatorial candidate Randy Crossley. Anderson also played a significant role in the state Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, serving as both Kailua Hawaiian Civic Club president and state Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs president. In 1978, Anderson started his first term in public office after winning a State House seat.
