Zeki Eker
Zeki Eker (born 1956) is a Turkish politician of Kurdish origin. He represented the Democratic Left Party as the MP for Muş in the 21st Parliament of Turkey. Eker also served as the administrative chief of the parliamentary council during his time as MP. He is the leader of the Badıkan Tribe, one of the oldest tribes in Turkey, with roots tracing back to Badh ibn Dustak, the founder of the Marwanids. Eker played a significant role in the development of Muş, granting scholarships to numerous students and building schools in the districts and villages. He joined the CHP after declining Deniz Baykal's offer of candidacy in the election.
