After wrongful conviction and military service, Unique returns to Ohio to rebuild, reopening life and partnering with his surviving relative, Ramsey. Their town's racist sheriff and violent associates conceal a brutal pattern of missing young Black men; when they target Unique, he confronts the conspirators to expose and stop crimes.
