Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood town of Jerusalem's Lot to write about its history, only to uncover a malevolent vampire presence that threatens residents. As disappearances and strange occurrences increase, Mears and other locals confront the supernatural force and seek to understand its origins and stop its spread.
