Doug Leibowitz, a frustrated playwright and middle school theater teacher, learns his ex, Abigail, is dating Principal Brady. Spurred by rivalry and spite, Doug stages an inappropriate, chaotic school musical intended to undermine Brady’s campaign for the Blue Ribbon of Academic Excellence, entangling staff and students in escalating theatrical sabotage.
