Set in 1932 Gyeongseong under Japanese colonial rule, 100 Days of Deception follows Lee Ga-kyung, a master pickpocket recruited by the independence movement to pose as an interpreter within the Japanese Government-General for a one-hundred-day mission to obtain intelligence, during which she becomes romantically involved with her assignment's adoptive son.
