After the band chief of an Indigenous community in Gaspésie disappears, Ontario detective Martin Ward and Quebec investigator David Bouchard join forces to pursue leads across Canada. The pair work alongside David’s daughter Gabrielle, Micmac officer Joe from Gesgapegiag, and lieutenant Kim of Sûreté du Québec, who questions Bouchard’s methods.
