Doctor on the Edge follows Do Ji-ui, a plastic surgeon who takes public health doctor duty to fulfill mandatory service and is posted to remote Pyeondong-do. On the isolated island, he and other medical officers confront mysterious occurrences and community tensions as they provide care under challenging, increasingly threatening conditions.
