Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series first broadcast by the BBC in 1963. It follows the Doctor, a Time Lord who travels through time and space in the TARDIS, a sentient time machine outwardly resembling a blue British police box. Accompanied by a succession of companions, the Doctor confronts a variety of adversaries, aids civilizations and ordinary people, and periodically regenerates into new incarnations portrayed by different actors.
