The Shannara Chronicles is a fantasy drama series adapting Terry Brooks's novels, set in the post-apocalyptic Four Lands. It follows a young healer with unstable magic, an Elven runaway and companions who attempt to protect an ancient tree that prevents banished demons' return. Filming took place primarily in New Zealand.
