Abrams has been a regular on various series such as Hannibal, Blindspot, The State Within, Slings and Arrows, and Runaway. In addition to his television work, he has played supporting roles in films like Amelia alongside Hilary Swank and Flash of Genius with Greg Kinnear. Abrams has also showcased his comedic talents in movies such as Jesus Henry Christ, Take This Waltz, and Children Ruin Everything. He wrote, starred in, and won a Canadian Comedy Award for the films The Go-Getters and Young People Fucking. Abrams also wrote and produced The Lovebirds, starring Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani.
