Aaron Stanford (born December 27, 1976) is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Pyro in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, as well as Doug in the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes. From 2010 to 2013, Stanford starred as Birkhoff in the TV series Nikita. He also played the lead role of James Cole in the television adaptation of 12 Monkeys, based on the 1995 film. Stanford was born in Westford, Massachusetts, and graduated from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of Arts in 2000. His first major film role was in Tadpole (2002).
