Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson (né Johnson; born 13 June 1990) is an English actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for playing the title character in Kick-Ass (2010) and its sequel, as well as portraying Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Aaron started his acting career as a child and appeared in films like Shanghai Knights (2003), The Illusionist (2006), and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008). His breakthrough performance came as John Lennon in the biopic Nowhere Boy (2009). He has also starred in Savages (2012), Anna Karenina (2012), and Godzilla (2014). Taylor-Johnson received critical acclaim for his role in Nocturnal Animals (2016), winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.
