Aarti Mann, born on March 3, 1978, is an American actress. She is widely recognized for her role as Priya Koothrappali in the CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory. Mann also stars as CIA lawyer Violet Ebner in the Netflix spy-adventure series The Recruit. Her notable appearances include the NBC science fiction drama series Heroes, the ABC political thriller Scandal, and the Netflix series Never Have I Ever. Born into a Gujarati Hindu family from Junagadh, Gujarat, Mann moved with her family to various places in Pennsylvania during her childhood. She settled in Fox Chapel after living in Pittsburgh, Mt. Lebanon, and Wexford. Mann's mother is Vasanti Majumdar.
