Abigail Lucy Cruttenden (born 23 March 1968) is an English actress known for her roles in both TV series and sitcoms. She began her career as a child and later played the character Jane, wife of Richard Sharpe, in several episodes of the TV series Sharpe. Her notable sitcom roles include Kate Weedon in the ITV comedy series Benidorm (2007–2009) and Anna in the BBC sitcom Not Going Out (2014–present). Cruttenden comes from a family with a history in the acting industry, with her grandmother founding a dance and drama school and her mother running a stage make-up school. Her brother is the stand-up comedian Hal Cruttenden.
