Adam Bessa (born 1992) is a French-Tunisian actor known for his roles in both French and Hollywood productions. He gained recognition for his performances as Reda in The Blessed (2017), Kawa in Mosul (2019), soldier Yaz Kahn in Extraction (2020) and its upcoming sequel, and Abbas Naziri in the Amazon Prime Video series Hanna. Bessa won the Un Certain Regard Award for Best Performance at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for his role in Harka (2022). Born in Grasse, France to an Italian-Tunisian mother and Tunisian father, Bessa is multilingual, fluent in French, Arabic, English, and Italian. After quitting law school, he taught himself acting and briefly studied at Jean Périmony theatre school in Paris before pursuing his acting career.
