    Adam Conover is an American comedian, writer, voice actor, television host, and labor organizer. He is best known for creating and hosting the truTV show 'Adam Ruins Everything' and being the host of the American version of 'The Crystal Maze' on Nickelodeon. Conover's limited series 'The G Word with Adam Conover' premiered on Netflix in 2022. He currently serves on the board of the Writers Guild of America West. Born in Smithtown, New York, Conover grew up in Wading River. His parents, David O. Conover and Margaret Conover, have degrees in marine biology and botany, respectively. Conover graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School in 2000, where he developed an interest in the performing arts.
